Graveyard Enterprises presents Fright Night's Twisted Manor in the former County Market building in the Southgate Shopping Center at 76 W. Liberty St. in Chambersburg, Pa. The haunted manor, set in the bayou of New Orleans swamps, includes a working elevator and an adventure as visitors get sidetracked on the way to the 13th floor and must find their way back to their rooms, says co-owner Jim Fry. The manor contains approximately 10 animated props. In-your-face scares. Appropriate for ages 6 and older if the child is used to horror movies. The guided tour takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Tickets go on sale at 6:45 p.m. with the first group going in at 7 p.m. Opens at 7 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Saturday, Nov. 1. Stays open until everyone gets through on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10 p.m. Sundays. $12, ages 12 and older; $7, ages 11 and younger. Terror Behind Bars is a haunted prison with military experiments, zombies and riots at the former Franklin County Prison, 625 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg, Pa. Appropriate for ages 8 and older. Children should be accompanied by an adult. 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Saturday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 2. Anyone in line by 11 p.m. gets through. $13 for adults; $10 for ages 12 and younger. Tour takes approximately 15 minutes. Sponsored by Franklin County Jail Employee Committee. Proceeds benefit Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter and the Stacy Reed Childrens Fund, a fund set up for the three children of Reed, a Franklin County Jail correctional officer who died in November 2007.
